Sébastien Bétrisey is a biologist leading the project Zelkova in Transcaucasia and Eastern Asia. He is working on the biogeography and conservation biology of relict trees at the Botanic Garden of the University of Fribourg and Natural History Museum Fribourg (Switzerland). He is also an expert for rare and threatened plants of the Canton of Fribourg (Switzerland).
